This surprise sale from Nordstrom might be the answer to being stir crazy! 25% off almost EVERYTHING!
I think we all could use some RETAIL THERAPY right now…and it hasn’t even been that long that we have been #socialdistancing. I’ve chosen some of my favorites, and since comfort shoes are usually pretty pricey and rarely go on sale, you should definitely grab a pair or two.
This 25% off and more SITE-WIDE sale (with some exclusions, of course) is going on now. The thing is, we don’t know just how long this sale will last. But I do know, as I’ve been writing this blog, a few things have already sold out so you better HURRY!
Until then, I am going to try to bring to you some of my picks from their site. But with thousands of items, I can only pick a few, so you should check them out yourself here. Shop the Sale
My first set of picks is for comfort shoes. For every day wear, and for the travel we are dreaming of in the near future. I usually stick with a few favorite brands; my foot is very hard to fit, and I need shoes that I can literally go the extra mile in. My favorite brands are listed, along other wonderful options.
What are your favorites? Let me know if you have any favorite brands too.

SEE THE LIST…
1) Mephisto Dominica Comfort Sandal
This is my favorite brand of comfort sandal. Why, you ask? Because of the adjustable strap in the front and the back. Very few brands have this and for someone with a wide front of the foot, a high top arch, and small heel, it is next to impossible to get a sandal to fit comfortably. Worth every penny and even better with the sale!
These retro Tretorns are super cute and go with jeans, shorts, or even a casual dress. What’s more comfortable than your favorite pair of sneakers!?
3)Vionic Bella II Flip Flop
Flip flops are so convenient to slip on, and so cool in the summer – but usually they are terrible for your feet….and posture! Not these though; I walked in these for miles in Europe and they are so comfortable with the absorbent bottom, arch support, and gripped sole. Did I mention they are super cute too!
4) Cole Haan Grand Pro Tennis Shoe
Cole Haan is synonymous with luxury, style, and comfort. This casual shoe comes in several colors, but I find this powder blue divine!
There’s that color again…light blue. It’s everywhere and I am loving it. All “Birks” are comfortable, but the soft suede Arizona sandals are the most comfortable to me! Comes in a variety of colors.
I wore this shoe – in a different color – all around Italy. I usually wore a pair of flatter wedges in the day, or my Vionic Sandals (#3 above), then switched to these for the evening. Most nights we walked until after midnight!
They were super comfy with the double adjustable straps. The cork soles made them even more comfortable. I’d like them in several colors, but at least choose one that will go with a lot of options. Navy is a great choice (shown), also the black and gold is super versatile. Wait….the CORAL! Wow, who can decide?
7)Clark’s Un Maui Sneaker
These are Clark’s? I used to think of that brand as a thick slip-on shoes for 80 year olds. Well no more…..these are super comfy (thus the name of the post) and trendy. Love the stripe on the sole and the cushioned heel.
8)Dr Scholl’s No Bad Vibes Sneaker
These shoes have come a long way from the wooden Dr. Scholl’s we had back in “the day”. Super trendy faux snake, these babies are always a great price, and incredible at 40% off!
9)Ecco Soft 7 Sneaker
This is a favorite of comfort sneaker seekers. Oh, that rhymes…..I think I’ll use that term again! Anyway, ECCO is well known for it’s quality and comfort and well worth the price. They rarely go on sale so this is a great deal.
Comes in 6 colors, so I’m sure there will be one you like!
10)Steve Madden Caliber High Top Sneaker
Steve Madden is great quality, and runs a healthy medium width. These would be extra stylish, while remaining comfortable. How great would these look with shorts!
11)Paul Green ‘Cayanne’ Leather Peep Toe
These are my new favorite shoes to wear with jeans. Look at that gorgeous blue snake color. Need I say more? Wowza.
12)Converse Chuck Taylor Love Fearlessly
Platforms give you a little more comfort than the super flat sneakers, in my opinion. But all “Chucks” are super stylish. Look at the hearts on the sole – don’t you just love them?! Take a look….all of the other Converse are on sale too.
13)Cole Haan GrandPro Rally Sneaker
I couldn’t decide on what color to show you; all of them are nice…the black…the white with blue laces….
I chose this color because of versatility. Since I also blog about travel, and love to travel, I am always keeping packing options in the back of my head. (although I am notoriously NOT a light-packer)
These would go with dresses, shorts…just about anything!
14)Adidas Swift Run Sneaker
I grabbed this shoe on the summer Anniversary sale and have worn it almost every day since. They are so lightweight and comfortable. Plus Adidas has plenty of width. It comes in several colors and keep your eye out, sometimes they come out with new special colors as well!
Thanks for shopping with me! Erica
